Stevie is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who joined our team in 2013. Stevie has provided psychological support to the Illawarra community for over a decade, working across the lifespan. Outside of FSA, Stevie provides clinical supervision services to psychologists.

Stevie has been a board approved supervisor since 2019 and has extensive experience working in management roles supporting both clinical and non-clinical staff. Stevie has experience providing both primary and secondary supervision to provisional psychologists completing their registration pathway, as well as providing supervision to registered psychologists. Stevie has strong partnerships with a range of universities offering post graduate psychology programs across New South Wales, Tasmania and Queensland.

Stevie aims to provide a supportive, authentic and reflective therapeutic environment that prioritises safety of the supervisee. Stevie can support psychologists working across a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. Stevie is an approved handler for our facility dog, Cooper, and is trained to utilise Cooper through Canine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Stevie also has experience in cognitive, learning and neurodevelopmental assessments.

In her spare time, Stevie enjoys reading, being outside in nature, spending time with animals, videogames and art.

Kalynda is a Clinical Psychologist and board approved supervisor and Accredited Practicing Dietician who joined our team in 2022. Kalynda has experience working across the lifespan and has been privileged to work in rural and remote locations with First Nations people and communities. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents and young adults presenting with complex trauma, attachment disruptions, and grief and loss. Kalynda also has experience working with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.

Kalynda recently became a board approved supervisor in 2024 and has previously worked in management roles that have seen her provide support and line management supervision to provisional and registered psychologists as well as other clinical and non-clinical staff. She is able to provide primary or secondary supervision for registered psychologists, clinical psychologist registrars, and provisional psychologists competing the 5+1 pathway.

Kalynda strives to use a collaborative approach to setting up supervision to ensure that each supervisee receives the support and guidance they need in their stage of development. During supervision, Kalynda creates a supportive and reflective space that can be used in a range of ways, including to review and reflect on complex cases or ethical issues, refine clinical skills and strategies, and explore transference or countertransference that may have arisen in the therapeutic space.  

Kalynda has experience completing neurodevelopmental assessments, including for Autism and ADHD. Kalynda has experience with a range of therapeutic modalities and predominately uses narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Kalynda enjoys spending time with her dogs, going for walks and spending time with family and friends.

Ajdin (Adi) is a registered psychologist and board approved supervisor. He has been working with Family Services Australia since 2018. Ajdin has experience working with a wide range of presentations across the lifespan including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, complex trauma, encopresis/enuresis, sleep difficulties, parenting support, and extensive experience working with neurodiverse populations.

Ajdin has been a board approved supervisor since 2023 and has gained experience with both provisional and registered psychologists. Ajdin has acted as primary and secondary supervisor for 5+1 pathway provisional psychologists, including students from the University of Wollongong, Macquarie University, La Trobe University, and the University of Notre Dame.

Ajdin views the supervisory relationship as fundamentally collaborative and aims to shape the space with each supervisee to meet their needs. He is interested in encouraging supervisees to explore the experience of delivering therapy and attune to aspects of transference and countertransference in their work.

Ajdin has experience working within a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), the Neuro-sequential model of therapeutics (NMT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), existential and person-centered psychotherapy, as well as depth oriented psychodynamic approaches.  He has completed a Masters of Brain and Mind Sciences (USyd) and is interested in affective neuroscience, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, and clinical psychophysiology as it pertains to psychotherapy.

Ajdin has also worked with Assistance Dogs Australia (2018-2023) and is passionate about animal assisted intervention. Ajdin’s canine co-therapist, Cooper, is a qualified Assistance Dog and a very good boy.

Megan is a Registered Psychologist and Board approved supervisor who joined our team in 2018 and after a short break, rejoined the team in 2024. She has a range of experience supporting individuals in the Illawarra for about a decade. She has worked with suicide risk de-escalation, substance use, parenting, complex trauma, children, adolescents, attachment issues and concerns, among many others . She has experience in both individual and group therapy.

Megan is an experienced supervisor, becoming board approved in 2020. She has experience being a primary and secondary supervisor for both the 5+1, 4+2 and the transitional pathway to registration. She has also supervised other mental health professionals. She has experience with both individual and group supervision.

Megan aims is to support you with reflective practice and case reflections. She is passionate about therapists having the ability to recognise their impact in the therapy room and how we can work with what naturally comes up in that space.

Megan has experience work with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Group therapy.

Megan enjoys spending time with her family, walking (although nothing too strenuous), reading and drinking tea.

Kristina is a registered psychologist and Board approved supervisor who returned to our team in 2024. She has experience in supporting children, adolescents and families providing direct intervention, risk management, addressing caregiver and child attachment difficulties, working with complex trauma presentations and neurodiversity such as Autism and ADHD, and liaising with external stakeholders. Kristina also has experience in working with working with women in the perinatal space, with complex presentations in occupational rehabilitation and with client’s seeking support in inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. She also has experience in working with adult populations in private practice settings and providing clinical supervision to registered and early career psychologists.

Kristina has supported provisional psychologists as a secondary or primary supervisor in the 4 + 2 and 5 +1 pathways to registration providing both individual and group supervision.

​

Kristina aims to provide a reflective space for clinicians that encourages open discussion, self-reflection and curiosity in supervision and is passionate about supporting clinicians in their growth and development in their individual style and professional journey as psychologists both registered and emerging. Kristina has experience working with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. Kristina has a specific interest and experience in providing Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

Kristina enjoys painting, drawing, and spending time in nature with her children and family dog.
